About Carey Favaloro

Carey grew up on the east coast and went to Middlebury College in Vermont, where she majored in Conservation Biology– a discipline that suited her desire to spend time outside and understand the world around her. After graduating from Middlebury in 2014, she moved to Colorado, where she spent five years teaching environmental science, working as a ski patroller/EMT, and coaching high school kids on the process of writing college essays. Eventually, she decided that she wanted to translate her interest in education and science into becoming a doctor. She moved back east to attend medical school and is now finishing her 4th year at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She plans to become an ObGyn! She loves helping patients understand their own bodies, medical conditions, and healthcare options. When she's not in the hospital or the classroom, she spends her time on outdoor adventures, reading books, completing crosswords, and cooking yummy food.
